Carl has practiced as a corporate and commercial lawyer and business advisor since the mid 1990s. He has an extensive practical experience of corporate transactions, financing and matters relating to business administration and corporate governance. He has advised and first chaired on an extensive number of significant corporate acquisitions, investments, divestments and restructurings, both in Swedish, Norwegian and other international and cross-border contexts. Carl has also advised on the financing of such transactions and on complex refinancing arrangements involving larger company groups, both through financial institutions and the issuing of corporate bonds. He is a capable negotiator with experience from a wide variety of different commercial negotiations.
Carl has a lenhtgy experience of serving as board member in a number of corporations, e.g. on the board of major corporations within the care sector financed by bonds traded on the Stockholm and Oslo stock exchanges.
Carl has been personally recommended in the legal guides Chambers and Partners for work within corporate/M&A and Legal500 for work within mergers & acquisitions and corporate and commercial matters.
Carl is licensed to practice law in Sweden and Norway under the professional title advokat and is qualified to use the Swedish professional title civilekonom. He is a member of the Swedish and Norwegian Bar Associations. He holds an LL.M., a B. Sc. in Ba. and Econ., and a University Diploma in English from Stockholm University.
